Tour Plan
Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Mikumi National Park
Depart Dar es Salaam early morning and drive to Mikumi National Park via Morogoro (approx. 5 hours).
Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive through Mikumi’s open plains. Spot elephants, zebras, lions, giraffes, and many antelope species as you explore the vast savannah.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Accommodation: Lodge or tented camp near the park entrance.
Day 2: Mikumi – Udzungwa Mountains National Park – Mikumi
After breakfast, take a short drive (1 hour) to the nearby Udzungwa Mountains National Park. Embark on a guided hike along the Sanje Waterfall Trail, which leads you through lush rainforest and scenic mountain views.
Discover rare primates, butterflies, and endemic birds as you ascend to the magnificent 170-meter Sanje Waterfall. Enjoy a refreshing swim in natural pools before descending.
Return to Mikumi in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Cultural Visit – Return to Dar es Salaam
