One Day Fly-in-out Zanzibar-Mikumi Sharing Safari
A. Tour Overview
Come with us on an unforgettable adventure to Mikumi on a day trip from Zanzibar by flight. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Indian Ocean below you and experience the most amazing wildlife in Mikumi National Park. This is a shared tour, although for larger groups we offer a private tour (see FAQs). It is your chance to experience the best of Tanzania in just one day whilst making the most of your time. B. Flight
Early in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Zanzibar airport. The departure time varies from 7-8.30 am, taking at most two hours to arrive in Mikumi. The plane will be waiting for you in the park and once you are done around 3.30-4.30 pm the plane will start its journey back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival your driver will take you to your hotel.
C. Mikumi
Mikumi is one of the many national parks in Tanzania and it is known for its diverse wildlife which includes; giraffes, elephants, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, zebras, hippos, warthogs, common elands, blue wildebeests, crocodiles, leopards and a huge variety of bird species.
Mikumi has different types of vegetation which includes grasslands, woodlands with miombo and acacia trees. It is also famous for its widespread Mkata plains and is surrounded by the Uluguru and Rubeho Mountains.
Lunch is served in the park; it is a buffet with Tanzanian inspired flavours with a mix of continental dishes. The buffet is vegetarian friendly and halal. Soft drinks and drinking water are included.
D. What to wear and bring
You can wear anything you are comfortable in. Bring your sunscreen and insect repellents. You can also bring a jumper during cold season (June-July) or raincoats during rain seasons (March-May).
The price for this amazing experience is $ 450 pp for a group tour and $ 550 pp for a private tour.

60% balance payment 30 days before arrival.
Full payment for short notice bookings i.e., less than a month.
